Description
Manufactured ‘exclusively’ for Ductwork installations where the restriction of fire spread is essential, the Fire Tested Duct Access Doors are constructed of Galvanised Steel and incorporate high-temperature insulation materials. Additional ‘cam fasteners’ ensure a ‘flame tight’ seal whilst the heavy-duty handles allow for ‘easy removal’ of the Access Doors to facilitate inspection, cleaning, and maintenance
Door frames on these Fire Tested Duct Access are supplied pre-punched, ready for additional mechanical fixings into the Duct in conjunction with the fold-over tabs
Independently Fire Tested
The Duct Access Doors have been Independently Fire Tested, utilising the temperature and pressure conditions of BS EN 1363-1: 2012 and the principles of BS EN 1634-1: 2014. These Access Doors were exposed to furnace temperatures reaching just over 1000°C and retained their integrity for the full two-hour period of testing
